Acid Attack Awareness Workshop

UPDATE - Due to the high interest in the workshop the venue has been changed. Please note that the session will now take place in the unit next to Costa (previously Thomas Cook). In light of the recent acid attacks which took place in Stratford, Stratford Original Business Improvement District has arranged for a short workshop to go through the basics on how to deal with acid attacks and what to do to minimise the effects of noxious substances on victims. The session will be followed by a short practical demonstration on how to provide first aid to victims.

The session will be delivered by members of the emergency services with input from Sgt Danielle Manning of the local Town Centre police team.

Free acid medical kits for members will be available on the day *limited availability.
