Stratford By Night with Amy Lamé Thursday 15th June 2017

We are hosting an exclusive and private event showcasing Stratford’s night time economy with the Mayor of London’s Night Czar, Amy Lamé. The evening will open with a panel discussion featuring Amy Lamé, Sue Robertson from Stratford Rising, Monique Deletant Bell from Stratford Circus, Kerry Michael from Theatre Royal and Councillor Mas Patel, LB Newham's designated representative on the GLA Nighttime Commission and Borough Champion. The evening will then progress to a live entertainment session with drinks, networking opportunities and light refreshments. At Stratford Original one of our main focuses is on promoting Stratford and its growing night time economy, crucial for developing an area into a well-known destination. The event will take place at Gerry’s Kitchen on the 15th June 2017 from 18:00- 21:00. As this is an exclusive invite only event keep an eye on your inbox. Safer Stratford - Hotspots Walkabout Thursday 18th May

Join us on our Safer Stratford - Hotspots Walkabout on Thursday 18th May from 10:30am - 12pm. Meet at Gerry's, Gerry Raffles Square. As part of our efforts to make Stratford safer, we work with our own Street Ambassadors, the Town Centre Police Team, the Stratford Safer Neighbourhood Team, and representatives from London Borough of Newham to tackle hotspots and implement solutions to improve the area. We will be assessing a number of known trouble spots, in particular on Gerry Raffles Square and Broadway. During the site visit, we will look at ways to design out crime and antisocial behaviour, as well as implement improvements to infrastructure and cleaning. Safer Stratford Meeting Thursday 6th April

On Thursday 6th April, businesses are invited to join the next Safer Stratford meeting. The meeting takes place 10:00 to 11:00 at the Stratford Centre Management Suite. This will be an opportunity for business owners and managers to discuss methods of working together with the police and Stratford Original ambassadors to help make Stratford a safer place for both customers and employees. Newham Council will give a presentation about the changes to Stratford Gyratory and there will be a discussion with the Met Police about designing out crime and ASB around the road system.
