Deep Clean on The Broadway

As parts of our plans to make Stratford a more welcoming and inviting place, we have commissioned Community Clean UK, to deep clean parts of the Broadway. The deep clean will include a high powered pressure wash and chewing gum removal.
The deep clean will take place overnight from 10pm – 4am, over three nights, from Sunday 2nd July 2017, including (Sunday 2nd July, Monday 3rd July, and Tuesday 4th July). The cleaners will have cleared the site by 6am, and no equipment will be left on site during the day. This will not impact on daytime activities and services. The area being cleaned will be blocked off with temporary barriers while cleaning is being done, but the public highway will not be obstructed. As you may know this is one of the projects within our Welcoming Theme Group, and is part of our larger efforts to make Stratford more welcoming place. Some of the other projects include; planting projects across the Town Centre such as our Adopt-a-Planter project, a wayfinding scheme to be installed this summer across the area, a new paper map to help visitors find their way to and around Stratford Town Centre, planned façade improvements to the upper level façade on the Broadway, planned improvements to lighting for key areas on the Broadway, informational updates to businesses about the Stratford Gyratory works.
