Stratford Original, in collaboration with London Borough of Newham, commissioned Thomas Matthews design agency for a series of bespoke artwork interventions as brick-wall murals and creative lighting installations along Stratford’s Broadway. This is part of our recent public realm enhancement projects in the area, including our wayfinding initiative.

To celebrate our latest project, we have organised an hour walk around Stratford town centre as part of this year’s London Festival of Architecture (LFA).

Starting with Stratford’s iconic Shoal installation and walking through to the Cultural Quarter and up to Broadway High Street where are new artwork is, participants will get the opportunity to explore some of Stratford’s unknown past, hidden and historic gems along with gaining an insight into current movements in this exciting borough which is in constant transformation.

Join us for an informative walk and talk with key stakeholders, followed by refreshments and nibbles at Stratford’s very own roof top bar.
