Free entry for Newham

This summer from 27 July – 12 August anyone who is living or working in Newham will have a FREE entrance to Discover Children’s Story Centre.

Some examples of proof of address will be required. A bill, bank statement, any letter from an official body with your name and address will be accepted. 

This summer you can visit the immersive world of Judith Kerr, hear the story of the Tiger Who Came to Tea in Sophie’s kitchen, pay a visit to Mog the Forgetful Cat, join amazing authors and incredible illustrators for storytelling, live drawing and craft sessions, and all these FOR FREE, thanks to the partnership between Discover and Newham Council.

  • All timed sessions have limited places and are subject to availability. We recommend booking in advance. Some tickets will be available on the day but are likely to sell out quickly

  • We can only accept one advance booking per person
