Do you have a great idea to improve your local area?
Join Newham Council at your local Community Assembly to identify and discuss how best to address challenges in your area. The assemblies give you and your neighbours direct influence to create a shared vision for the place where you live, work or learn and to help shape its development and growth. This will be your chance to address local concerns, establish community projects for your neighbourhood, influence decision making, and have a greater say in how local funding is spent.
Voluntary, community and faith organisations (VCSs) can apply to establish projects to improve a neighbourhood by collaborating with businesses to find solutions to local problems, connect with other residents and share knowledge and influence where the funding is spent. If you are a VCS you can find out more and download an application form for submission by 6 June.
