Emissions based charging – Newham Council

Newham Council has introduced emissions based charging for resident, business, charity business and industrial permits.
8 January 2021

In order to improve Air Quality along a number of other measures, new permit charges will apply for all applications and renewals for Newham resident, business, charity business and industrial permits from 6 January 2021, with permit charges based on CO2 categories used by HMRC for vehicle taxation. Permit holders with renewals due in early 2021 are encouraged to check the fees chart now and prepare ahead for the new costs.

The cost of permits is set in the following LBN link.
