Farewell to Market Village in Stratford Centre

It is with sadness that we learn about the sudden closure of the Stratford Market Village, a cherished part of Stratford Centre. Market Village plays an integral role in our community, offering a diverse array of goods, fostering local entrepreneurship, and creating a unique atmosphere for our town centre.

We are working closely with the London Borough of Newham to understand the evolving situation and more importantly, provide support and assistance to the traders.

Gianluca Rizzo, Stratford Original BID Managers, stated ‘this news caught us by surprise, Stratford Village is such an important economic, cultural and social hub of activity locally. We are in touch with some traders and representatives from Newham to provide assistance’.

Stratford Market Village hosts over 60 unique traders and it has been trading over 30 years in Stratford.
