Free Cycle Events

Summer 2019
Throughout summer 2019 we successfully organised and conducted three cycling events in Stratford Town Centre, including Car Free Day on the 22nd September

We want to encourage Stratford to get on two wheels and celebrate the new cycling infrastructure in the area.

A series of events across summer up to the Car Free Day in September offered to locals and visitors from bikes’ repair and register to cycle route advice and safety tips. Additionally, participants could pedal to blend a healthy smoothie and get a taste of pedal-powered passenger and cargo service Pedal Me with amazing rides across the town centre.

The events were organised in partnership with Newham Cyclists,  LB Newham and Stratford & West Ham Community Neighbourhood.
