Bonny Downs Voices for Change

could you help support Newham’s recovery from the pandemic?

Voices for Change is a new research project, recently launched by Newham charity Bonny Downs Community Association (BDCA). It is designed to capture experiences of the pandemic from people who live and work in Newham and gives people an opportunity to discuss their hopes and priorities for the future. This will help BDCA shape its future services for the community in response and, in return for your participation, BDCA will be very happy to share a summary report of the research findings so we can all benefit from the research and build a brighter Newham together.

The project will run until March and funding has been provided by The National Lottery Community Fund. You can read more about the project here.

Ways to get involved

We are keen to involve as broad and diverse a group of people as possible, from all ages and backgrounds across the borough. We invite you to take part through one or more of the following activities:

  • Take a short Online Questionnaire (estimated 10 minutes)
  • Share your Personal Story from the pandemic online (estimated 10 mins)
  • Join an online Focus Group with other Newham people (estimated 30 mins) – please see our website for details
  • Give a more detailed 1-1 Interview to one of our conversation facilitators (online or by phone) – please contact Steve for details (see below)
