Your Futureproof Career: Developing your Interview Skills and Confidence
This session will start off with a workshop around interview skills, designed to explore the different types of interview questions and allow participants to develop their stock of case studies and potential answers to questions.
The session will culminate with an opportunity to engage in an individual mock interview and receive constructive feedback. Please note this will be delivered in a sensitive way, so don't let this put you off coming to the session if you're feeling nervous about it!
The event will be delivered from a general, non-industry specific perspective however to support the planning for the session, it would be helpful if, on booking your place, you could email firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know in advance which roles you are likely to be interviewing for.
The event will also offer the chance to discuss higher education as a possible option for those who do not have a university degree. The event is free and refreshments and lunch will be provided. Please arrive promptly at 11am to enable the event to start on time.
Futureproofing your career
This workshop is part of a series of events aimed at those who are facing change and uncertainty in the workplace and who are looking to plan their next steps. Career management is a skill that is expected of all professionals these days, but not everyone is entirely sure what it entails and why it is so important. These sessions will support you to plan and execute your future career journey because your career is yours and not your employer’s.
These are interactive sessions and we encourage you to come prepared to ask questions and share your thoughts on the topics at hand.
