This project includes audio and visual work made as part of an engagement project at Alice Billing House in Stratford.
Expect excerpts from the digital archive, physical representations on Grow’s Mezzanine Gallery and a chance to meet artists involved in the project.
These cumulative creative contributions have emerged from a network of artists and local communities, and draws upon non-traditional methodologies, indigenous practices of storytelling and the collation of stories to create a body of work that utilises experimental formats of archival and artistic outcomes. Rooted in feminist and anti-colonial epistemologies, the intention has been to unearth the rhizomatic connective tissues between past, present and future.
