Newham Council is inviting representations on the Proposed Main Modifications to the Newham Local Plan, which can be found on our website here.

Following examination hearings held between December 2025 and February 2026, the Inspector identified a series of Main Modifications required to ensure the Plan meets the tests of legal compliance and soundness.

Consultation Period

The consultation on the Proposed Main Modificationsis already open and will run until 5pm on Tuesday 7 July 2026.
Please note that comments received after the deadline cannot be accepted.
