A new community share offer is being prepared for solar installations at St Stephen’s Primary School and Godwin Junior School.
Before the offer officially launches, local residents are invited to pledge their interest and be among the first to hear when investment opens. Your pledge can help demonstrate local support for community-owned renewable energy and build momentum for the campaign.
Community Energy Newham is a resident-led co-operative developing and managing solar projects on community buildings across the borough. Its solar panels generate clean electricity, reduce carbon emissions and help keep the benefits of renewable energy local. Any surplus from its projects is reinvested in community initiatives and future renewable energy projects in Newham.
