Christmas 2020

Whilst this Christmas will be different, we encourage residents to stay safe and shop local by supporting our businesses. Wrap your gifts using our free service when buying from our businesses, grab a postcard at one of the venues and send it to Father Christmas using the postbox located inside the Stratford Centre.
1 December 2020

Last Christmas, we transformed Theatre Square into a Winter Wonderland with arts and crafts for children, Christmas songs, hot chocolate and popcorn, Father Christmas and live entertainment.

Whilst it might be a different Christmas this year we still want to bring some festive and joyful spirit in Stratford town centre.

Stratford Original BID in partnership with London Borough of Newham, Newham Markets and Stratford and West Ham Community Neighbourhood have teamed up to bring to Stratford a Christmas Tree on the Broadway by the entrance of the Stratford Centre and Christmas Lights throughout the town centre.

We are also working in partnership with the Stratford Centre to bring some joy and share the festive spirit to local children and families. From the beginning of December until the 23rd of December a Santa Mail Box will be installed inside the Stratford Centre. You can find the free Christmas postcards in a number of different venues across Stratford. Learn more here.

As there has not been a better time to shop local, we are offering a free gift-wrapping service inside the Stratford Centre on the first three Saturdays of December, for any items purchased between the 5th and 19th December from our members. For more details, and for terms & conditions check here.
