Community Toilet Scheme

Community Toilet Scheme

Join businesses like McDonald’s and local libraries in Newham’s Community Toilet Scheme.
19 October 2018

The scheme allows members of the public to use your toilets during your opening hours. They don’t have to make a purchase from you, but the scheme is likely to see increased numbers through your doors.

The London Borough of Newham will pay you from £700 to £1000 a year, depending on your facilities. Your business will be listed on our website, and may be included on promotional materials for the scheme.

You'll need to

•    display a community toilet sticker at your customer entrance
•    keep your toilets clean and in good repair

Businesses with disabled access and baby changing rooms are particularly welcome.

If you are interested in being part of the scheme, please contact public.conveniences@newham.gov.uk or 020 3373 4294.
