Families are invited to swing into summer at Stratford Centre, where a programme of free children’s events will bring monkey-themed fun, creativity and adventure to the South Mall throughout the school holidays.
Running on selected dates throughout the summer, Monkey Market Adventure offers a variety of free activities designed to keep children entertained, from arts and crafts to games, dancing and imaginative market play.
Each event will feature a different jungle-inspired activity, giving young visitors the chance to create monkey masks, design banana-themed bookmarks, make monkey magnets and take part in energetic dance sessions and interactive games.
Event Schedule
Wednesday 29 July – Monkey Faces Children can create and decorate their own jungle-inspired monkey mask to take home.
Wednesday 8 August – Games, Dance & Craft A lively session featuring monkey headbands, grass skirts, craft activities, games and music.
Wednesday 15 August – Monkey Crafts Young visitors can get creative with monkey-themed activities, including magnet making.
Wednesday 22 August – Monkey Market Children can explore mini monkey market stalls complete with baskets, faux fruit and monkey ears for imaginative role play.
Wednesday 29 August – Monkey Crafts Another opportunity to join in with popular monkey-themed craft activities.
Wednesday 2 September – Monkey Activities Families can celebrate the end of summer with more monkey-inspired fun and creative play.
All events are free to attend and will take place in the South Mall at Stratford Centre between 10am and 2pm.
