Travel disruption is hitting the Capital as 40,000 railway workers go on strike.
National Rail strikes will be occurring on Thursday 18th and Saturday 20th. Strikes on national rail services (nationwide) will cause severe disruption. TfL advise to only travel on National Rail services if absolutely necessary.
On Friday 19th, Tube, London Overground and bus strikes will be affecting most TfL services. TfL advise to avoid traveling on the Tube if possible and only travel on the rest of the network if essential. On this day, the Tube will experience severe disruptions on all lines with little to no services throughout the day and also no night tube. If you need to travel, river services, London Cable Car and Santander Cycles will be available to help you get around.
Following the Tube strike the previous day, Tube services will start after 08:00 on Saturday 20th. Most TfL services will run as normal after 08:00, but still expect disruption on certain lines. Find out which lines here.
On Sunday 21st, there may still be some disruption from strikes which will continue to affect certain services, therefore TfL recommend to not travel before 8:00 on this date.
