Winter Wonderland 2019

On Thursday 28 November 2019 our annual free Winter Wonderland took place.
9 December 2019

On Thursday, the 28th November Stratford saw Theatre Square transforming into Winter Wonderland: games and crafts for children, Christmas songs by Stratford East Singers choir, hot chocolate and popcorn, Father Christmas and the main attraction of the night huge light up birds who captivated the attention of the youngest and oldest of the crowd. 

The event was visited by the members of Newham Council, other local businesses and local residents. We hope everyone enjoyed the event and had a good time with their friends and families!

Special thanks to Discover for their contributions, and a technical team of Stratford Circus who were so helpful and quick to respond to all of our requests and needs.Thanks to Westfield Stratford City for their support with the Christmas tree which makes Theatre Square look so beautiful 🎄

Winter Wonderland gave a start to many other festive events and entertainment happening in Stratford this Christmas season. 

Stratford East invites everyone on the awesome adventure with Dick Whittington and Stratford Circus on a festive expedition We’re going on a bear hunt. Have some jolly jumping at ZAPspace, sing Christmas Carols and do not miss Fathers’ Christmas arrival in Stratford Shopping Centre and much more.
